First Grade
As a teacher I have the opportunity to plant seeds of confidence and vision in the hearts and minds of the students that come through my classroom doors every day. I know that as an educator I am in a profession that matters. I touch lives in ways that few people can by using my purpose and passion to awaken the learner inside of them. What I love about teaching at St. John’s is that I am able to go beyond the role of an information dispenser by imparting inspiration about our world and the Lord to my students.
My education background is diverse! I hold a Masters of Forensic Science, Bachelors of Psychology and Criminal Justice, Associates degrees in Social/Behavioral Science and Early Childhood Education, a Clear Cross-Cultural Language and Academic Development Credential, a Moderate/Severe Special Education Credential and a Certificated Professional Dibels Assessment and Reading Coordinator.
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
Philippians 4:13
