Rainbow Room

 The Rainbow Room at St. John's Preschool is our Toddler Unit; the place for our youngest students. Their day will be filled with "purposeful play" as they learn all about self awareness, confidence and problem solving. They will be introduced to language and math concepts, practice fine and gross motor skills, listen to Bible stories and music, create art and dance, dance dance! Caring and responsive relationships help students feel secure in their environment, making the Rainbow Room a great place for children to play, learn and grow. Lesson plans are based on St. John's  comprehensive and developmentally appropriate preschool curriculum which is designed to prepare them to successfully move into the next phase of their preschool journey.

I love working with young children because they are always enthusiastic, loving and honest! They are curious about everything and it's fun exploring new things with them, as they are always eager to learn. My favorite thing to see is a child have their "I did it!" moment through skills and tools provided in my classroom. I love teaching at St. John's because, not only do I get to do all of this, but I get to share God's love with my kids. I feel this is God's calling and purpose for me. I have 40 units in early childhood education and early intervention from Mt. San Jacinto. I have 4 years experience working with toddlers {18months - 3 years}; this experience includes training in working with children who have exceptional needs.

I have over 16 years of experience working with preschool children. Spending time with children lets me see the love of God and the beauty of His creation at its best. Seeing my students' happiness and joy places me in the position where I find myself content, peaceful and filled with the love of God. I truly value teaching my students kindness and care for each other; I believe that this is something that stays with them forever.I love teaching at St. John's Preschool because we can freely teach about God and His Word.
