21st century skills are abilities students need to develop in order to succeed in the information age. As part of the effort to address these skills, St. John's-Hemet is excited to offer an educational technology plan that integrates relevant, available and future technologies into the classroom curriculum; trains and guides students to use technology for learning purposes; and assesses, coaches and supports classroom teachers. This plan is intended to develop innovation, complex problem solving and creative thinking within the classroom; it is a multi-step process placing St. John's Lutheran School students on the path toward success. All students in Kindergarten-8th grade take a weekly 50-minute class in St. John's Technology Lab; all teachers will have curriculum integration support and professional development, and our school infrastructure will be supported by experts in the field. Please feel free to contact Bryan Bousquet with any questions about Technology Education!
